Defensive back Antonio Kite transferred from Alabama to Auburn.

Defensive back Antonio Kite announced his commitment to Auburn after entering the transfer portal on Saturday, January 13, following the resignation of former Alabama head coach Nick Saban.
Kite is the second player in the modern era of the sport to transfer from Alabama to Auburn.
The only other one was Cory Grant in 2011.

The 1.
90-meter redshirt freshman appeared in seven games during the 2023 season, primarily playing in a special teams role.
Kite only took the field during the 2022 season in two games of the redshirt season.
Kite, a product of Anniston High School, was unanimously ranked as a four-star prospect, ranked No.
164 nationally in his composite and No.
9 overall player in the state of Alabama.
The Tigers lost safeties Jaylin Simpson and Zion Puckett and cornerback D.J.
James Pritchett and Nehemiah Pritchett in the NFL Draft.
Following Monday’s signing of Texas safety Jaelin Thompson, Kite will be targeting another position with new assistant defensive coordinator Charles Kelly, a central figure in Kite’s initial recruitment to Alabama.
Kite will look to make his college breakthrough at Auburn with a young and talented defensive unit.
