West Ham United want to add an experienced attacker with more than 15 goals this season.

West Ham United are allegedly interested in signing Sporting CP winger Pedro Goncalves.

According to HITC, the Hammers are keeping an eye on the 25-year-old winger ahead of a potential summer deal, although it is unclear whether they will reach an agreement with the Portuguese club.

There is no doubt that West Ham needs more quality in the final third, and Goncalves will bring goals and creativity to the team. The 25-year-old is a natural left-winger but can play on either flank. He can also play as a central attacking midfielder.

Pedro Goncalves would be a coup for West Ham

Goncalves has been in fantastic form this season, scoring 15 goals in all competitions. He has 14 assists to his credit as well.

There is no doubt that he possesses the technical skills necessary to succeed in the Premier League, and he has the potential to revolutionize West Ham United in the future. Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus are already two of the Hammers’ top attackers. Signing Goncalves might round out their striking trio for the foreseeable future.

West Ham will hope to compete in European football on a consistent basis, and they will need to fill voids in their squad to do so. Signing a quality attacker should be their main focus. Someone like Goncalves, who can consistently contribute with goals and assists, would be an excellent fit for them.

The 25-year-old has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, and it still remains to be seen whether the Hammers can complete the transaction.
