Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham has given his okay to Gio Reyna’s move to Nottingham Forest.
The 21-year-old has completed his loan move from Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the season. Forest will reportedly pay his entire salary till June.
Forest’s statement read: “Nottingham Forest is happy to announce the signing of Gio Reyna from Borussia Dortmund. The 21-year-old joins the team on loan until the end of the season. Reyna was born in Sunderland and has made 121 appearances for Dortmund since joining the Bundesliga club from New York City FC in 2019. He won the German Cup with the Black and Yellows in 2021.
“The dynamic forward has also appeared 24 times for the USA national team since his debut in November 2020, scoring seven goals, and has won two CONCACAF Nations League titles with his country in 2020 and 2023. Gio will wear the number 20 shirt during his stint at Trentside. Welcome to Forest, Gio!”
