According to a report from Give Me Sport, Real Madrid and Manchester United are vying for the 21-year-old center defender, and Tottenham is “in the hunt.”
With three years remaining on his current Everton deal, the £35,000-a-week defender is reputedly valued at £80 million. Whether his suitors are prepared to shell out that type of cash for the player in the summer will be interesting to watch.
Branthwaite, undoubtedly one of the best defensive prospects in the nation right now, is a central defender that Tottenham needs in their ranks.
Still, the London club might be turned off by the rumored asking price. They are unlikely to be able to afford that kind of money for the Everton defender since they have other objectives in the market.Tottenham 'at the forefront' to sign Albert Gudmundsson

This season, Tottenham paid fair rates to get Radu Dragusin and Micky van de Ven, and they want to pay a fair price to add another defender.

Given Brathwaite’s excellent standing at Everton, it is unlikely that the Toffees will allow him to depart for a steep discount. It will be interesting to see how things play out because they will demand a premium for their highly valued prospect.
The North London team is vying for Champions League qualifying right now, so they might appeal to the 21-year-old. He has everything it takes to become a world-class defense in the upcoming campaigns. A fantastic future prospect will be in the hands of whoever decides to sign him.
